New Hampshire

Three-minute unmatched deletion is the tightest retrieved cap. The petition asks for removal.

ALPR statute
RSA 261:75-b — LPRs restricted to local, county, and state law enforcement. Unmatched plate records shall be purged within 3 minutes unless an alarm resulted in arrest, citation, protective custody, or a missing/wanted match. RSA 259:68-a defines an LPR as vehicle-mounted and attended by an officer. 2016 sunset (Jan. 1, 2027) was repealed by 2026 HB 1059 / Chapter 88 (signed May 28, 2026). Attended devices; audit trail required.
Executive
Not retrieved. Empty beats a copied neighbor.
Local
NH State Police told WMUR (Sept. 1, 2026) it has no Flock cameras. Concord DOC Flock Raven units near prisons are not ALPRs per the department.
Funding / grants
Not retrieved. Empty beats a copied neighbor.
Permitting / dirt
RSA 261:75-b, III and Saf-C 7200: each agency must register every LPR with the Department of Safety before deployment.
Privacy
Shortest unmatched-read deletion retrieved in this briefing. Still not a collection ban for the attended devices the statute allows. RSA 236:130 bans highway surveillance except where specifically authorized; 261:75-b is that authorization.

Comment for this state

A city fight in New Hampshire is still one of 19,000. A state ban is one of 50. Sign: https://orwellday.com/stop-flock-solution/
